Welcome to my blog site! Early retirement…can I really retire before the age of 65 or 67 and sustain a meaningful lifestyle? Absolutely, but it depends on the decisions you make early in your life. What you decide to do today has an impact on your future. I want to share with you the life decisions I made in my past that has allowed me to get to this point of even thinking about early retirement.

I believe financial independence is the key to successfully achieving early retirement. This doesn’t mean you have to win the lottery jackpot. It means you need to understand your finances, understand the value of money, and spending your money wisely.

Everyone has a different perspective what retirement means, let alone early retirement. I always thought of retirement as work hard until 65 or 67, save enough money, and live off your retirement savings (pretty common I think and that’s what my parents did). Do I want to work until 65 or 67? I do, but not in a traditional 9-5 job capacity. The internet has changed the entire world and it brought new opportunities such as social media, e-Commerce, content creators, influencers, and more. My goal for early retirement is to get to the point of financial flexibility so that I can explore these other opportunities without financial burden to myself and my family.
