I wrote in a previous article about apps that will give you cash for your receipts. I wanted to give an update because I started using another app to help me build my cash rewards and update you on how I use an existing app Checkout 51.
Checkout 51 is an app that allows you to get rewarded for eligible purchases at stores which isn’t new. Not too long ago, this app has a Gas feature where you can upload gas receipts from participating gas stations. This is great because not only do I get rewards for using my credit cards that give me additional points on gas but I also get rewarded through Checkout 51 also for uploading my gas receipts. I’ve gotten gas rewards from $.06 per gallon to $.25 per gallon. Only participating gas stations will show up. Use my referral link to sign up.
The latest cash rewards app I signed up for is Dosh. I was a little skeptical at first because you have to enter your credit cards in this app. But what this app does is if you use your registered credit cards at any of the eligible places in the app, you’ll get the cash back that’s being offered. Dosh tracks your credit card transactions. I was at Office Depot and I bought a gift card using my credit card. Immediately, I received a notification of an eligible cash back transaction. I started using this app about 2 months ago and so far $26. Not bad for not doing anything. This may be small but over time, this balance will grow. Use my referral link to sign up.
Businesses want your business and they use these apps to give you incentives for doing business with them. One warning I want to caution you is that don’t force yourself to buy things you normally wouldn’t just to get a reward. As I continue to find more of these apps, try them out, and if they’re worth mentioning, I will sure to let you know.
