What’s Better Than A Freebie?
I tell my children that nothing in this world is free. But is that true? You can find great deals but what if you can go shopping, come out with some items, and not spend any of your money? Jackpot! Free! Free! Free! I’ve have a few scenarios where I received some things at no cost and it’s one of the best feelings. Coming out without having to pay a dime! What’s better than a freebie?

You do have to sign up for loyalty rewards, at least the one’s I received free items for.
A number businesses will give you a free item on your birthday each year. Of course, you need to sign up with their loyalty rewards for it. This is enticing to get your business and to keep you coming back. Here are a few places I’ve received free items or items that came to be free.
Red Robin
Every year I get a free eligible sandwich item during my birthday month. It’s great because I don’t usually eat at Red Robin as much so when I do get a sandwich and fries, it tastes so good! No other purchase is necessary.
Panera Bread
On my birthday month, I get a free pastry. It’s a yummy treat and no other purchase is necessary.
IHOP
Who doesn’t like pancakes for lunch or dinner? Get free pancakes for your birthday and certain nights of the week, kids eat free! Even better.
Staples
I’m a rewards member and I get these $5 off anything from time to time even when it’s not my birthday. I got one right before school started so it was perfect timing to spend on school supplies that the kids needed. Luckily, they had most of the supplies already and what I needed to buy totaled less than $5. So I came out of the store not paying for anything. What a great feeling!
T-Mobile Tuesdays
If you’re a T-Mobile customer, there’s an app called T-Mobile Tuesdays. Every Tuesday, there are freebies or discounts. I’ve gotten free Whoppers, discounted gas, free Auntie Anne pretzels, free RedBox rentals, discounted Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins, and other items. I have 4 lines which means that each line can benefit from T-Mobile Tuesdays 4 times! If there’s a free Whopper deal, guess what? That’s 4 Whoppers!
There are more places that have similar offers so check out this link for additional freebies. I haven’t tried all of them but when it’s your birthday, take advantage! I’ve also gone out to restaurants where they would surprise you with a free dessert if you let them know it’s your birthday or if you’re at a bar, the bartender might give a drink on the house. Never hurts to ask if they can do anything special for your birthday. Getting a treat is great. Getting a free treat is even better! What’s better than a freebie?
