Webull is giving 2 free stocks, one for opening an account and one after depositing $100, and the promotion is ending on 6/9/2020. I just opened an account and here’s my experience and I’ll show what stock I received. Is there a catch? Well, the first 3 statements on their Terms and Conditions for this promotion are

1. Duration: 5/14/2020-6/09/2020.
2. Open a Webull brokerage account and receive a FREE stock valued between $2.5-$250! 3. New brokerage account holders, who make an initial deposit of $100 or more will be able to claim a free stock valued between $12-$1400. Free stocks can only be claimed when the deposit amount has settled into your account. Please note, deposits may take up to 5 business days to settle.

First thing I did was research Webull. I didn’t want to put my money or provide my personal information to a place that was not legitimate. Webull is a member of the SIPC and a regulated firm by FINRA.

After seeing this, I felt a lot more comfortable and decided to open an account. If I could get 2 free stocks, even if they’re not worth much, it’s still a stock I didn’t have before. The promotion ends on 6/9/2020 which is 2 days away from this posting.

My account got approved very quick even over the weekend then I was able to claim my first stock. Once I clicked on the GET button, I found out what my free stock was.

I was hoping maybe like a Microsoft share, but I did say that something is better than nothing. I then went to deposit $100 but that’ll process on the next business day. Once that goes through I should be receiving my second free stock. So what is the point in all this? Going through all this, was it worth it and having to manage another account? Well, we will have to wait and see. There are some positive aspects to this

• Webull offers extended hours trading
• 0  commissions

It’s possible that this free stock can go up but for now, I’m already in positive territory. I could use this account for a certain investment type, like REITs.
