What My Investment Focus Is In 2021
I’m always looking to see what my next investment should be. In 2020, I focused my investments in Apple (APPL) which turned out to be a win. I was able to get Apple before the 4-to-1 split. Before investing, always do your research. This is what my investment focus is in 2021.
Now that 2021 is here, what is a good investment? It’s going to be tricky because we’re still fighting the impacts of COVID-19, many Americans are struggling because of pandemic impacts, and the economy is trying to recover. Investing your money needs to be carefully thought through.
Where does that leave me? It’s tricky especially with news that the stock market hit record highs even with virus surges and unemployment is up.
My plan is to invest in Tesla (TSLA). Why Tesla? Isn’t Tesla around $700 per share? Isn’t there more competition? Didn’t Apple just hint us of an Apple Car? I believe electric vehicles (EV) are going to be strong. Most car manufacturers now have an EV car and the EV trends are getting more popular. I still feel that Tesla is the leader in this market. They entered into the S&P 500. They finally reported profits. Climate change is a huge concern. Their stocks continue to go up and up.
I bought a few shares last week and the stock is up 9%. I believe that Tesla is going to show us more in 2021 with the release of the Cyber Truck and there will be more emphasis on going green. Tesla is the leader in the EV market and their market share shows it.
