The Plan For 2024

The Plan For 2024

Good-bye 2023, Hello 2024. Sometimes I feel that the new year is just a continuation and it really doesn’t feel new. Other times I feel like it’s symbolic to start something new, review your life journey, and make any adjustments. Here’s the plan for 2024.

One of the GOAT things to do is to stay consistent. Continuing to practice good financial habits is key and if you can make it a permanent lifestyle, you will reach your financial goals. I am going to continue to max out my retirement contributions, contribute to my children 529 plans, reinvest my dividends, and reduce my total debt. These are habits I’ve applied in my life for many many years and the financial growth is tremendous. There is light at the end of the tunnel!

Are there things I would change? Nothing right now. I like how my financial portfolio is balanced and diversified between savings, stocks, real estate, and retirement accounts. My goal of paying off my mortgage early is ongoing. I’m making a dent with every extra penny I apply to my principal balance.

Should I start something new? I always thought about starting a YouTube channel but never been comfortable in front of a camera. I also thought about starting a business. I enjoy being in the kitchen, creating healthy meals, and sharing healthy recipe ideas. Maybe this year, maybe not.

My plan may not sound exciting. It’s actually everything I’ve been doing and just repeating it year after year. Like I mentioned above, it’s about consistency. I know there will be times where you will fall off the financial wagon but to build a financial portfolio enough to reach your financial independence goals, you have to get back on journey and continue to push on. This is the plan for 2024 so I say to you, “Be consistent and good luck in 2024!” If you are interested in following my journey and their journey, follow them on Instagram and email subscribe to get alerts of latest posts or follow me on FacebookInstagram, and Pinterest.
